UKF Group’s Developments Since Tube Düsseldorf 2016

The Tube Trade Fair in Düsseldorf is regarded as one of the most beneficial events for the tube and tube processing industry. With a 98% satisfactory rate and 2 out of 3 trade visitors finding new business partners at Tube 2016¹, Tube 2018 is set to be an unmissable event.

UKF have been attending Tube Düsseldorf since 1996 and it has become an integral part of our company’s tradition and business calendar.

Since 2016, the UKF Group has developed by leaps and bounds and we are proud at our progress to this day.

As Tube Dusseldorf 2018 quickly approaches, it’s the perfect time for us to highlight some of the UKF Group’s biggest developments from the last 2 years.

B Block Berresford Avenue, Coventry

In January 2018, JPC took over from Eberspacher UK (EET) at B Block, Berresford Avenue, Coventry. This takeover came about when Eberspacher announced plans to move their automotive welding cells to Cowley, Oxfordshire – and their bending operation out of the UK. By doing so we have saved several jobs and prevented the site from closing.

As a result we are now the proud owners of 6 tube bending cells and for the next 5 years at least will be producing and supplying a complete range of original BMW Mini exhaust pipes direct to Eberspächer Cowley.

LaserTube LT5

Since Tube 2016, we have acquired a state-of-the-art LaserTube LT5, allowing us to provide a premium laser profiling service to our customers. The LT5 is our solution to achieving complex cuts with minimal waste and cost.

Stainless Metals Open Factory in Dublin

Since being established in 2015, Stainless Metals and Alloys Ltd (SMA) have gone through exponential growth. To ensure the continuation of this success, a factory near Dublin was acquired in 2017.

The location of the factory provided SMA with a base of operations south of the border. This has been significant in its development as it has made Next Day Delivery within the Republic of Ireland an option for our customers.

12 Buntsford Park Road, Bromsgrove

Thanks to the support from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, we secured our head office site on Buntsford Park Road, Bromsgrove in February 2018.

The site has also been modified to make it more accessible and practical for the workforce. This involved merging the two warehouse units to make the site more efficient and suitable for further development.
